PhotoFrame (“the App”) is a local media slideshow application that runs on Android and other supported platforms. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information, the permissions it requests, and the protections in place to keep your data private.

Local media and device data

App settings

PhotoFrame stores configuration settings locally on your device using Android shared preferences or equivalent platform storage. These settings include:

2. How the App uses permissions

The App requests only the permissions needed to provide its features, and it uses them only on your device.

• Storage access: Required to read media files from the selected directory and detect additions, deletions, or changes in that directory.
• Manage external storage: May be requested on Android to allow access to large media directories when the selected source requires it.
• File picker access: Used only when you choose a custom directory through the system picker.

3. Third parties and libraries

The App uses only on-device libraries and system APIs to function. It does not include advertising networks or analytics services.

• In-app purchases: The App may offer optional lifetime registration or premium features through Google Play’s billing system.
• Local media processing: The App uses standard Flutter and platform plugins to access local media and play audio/video.

4. Data retention

Any app settings you save remain on the device until you uninstall the App or clear its storage. The App does not retain any data in the cloud.

5. Security practices

The App is designed to keep your information on your device only. It does not transmit personal information or user media files externally.
